*The Theme for today’s Service is ‘Together…We Are Called To Be Saints’ and next Saturday WCG Watford host the 7th Service of the week with a Theme of ‘Together…We Belong To Christ.’  This Service will begin at 10:30am and will be followed by brunch.  All of Churches Together in Watford are invited to this Service and so we will have some guests from other denominations joining us on this occasion.

*Thank you for Children’s church and we pray that it will lead our children into relationship with God
*We pray that you would work through the Prayer  Table outside to bless the local community
*We pray for peace and ask that you would have mercy on those affected by these wars erupting in various countries
*Comfort those who are mourning the loss of loved ones
*Bless our guest speaker today and his message for us

Hymn 4.  Lo, He Comes With Clouds Descending
Before introducing the guest speaker, David read 1 Peter 2:9, which says we area a chosen generation and royal pristhood, which inspires todays theme of Together…We are called to be Saints.

Guy Miller of Watford Elim Pentecostal Church gives the messageThe Message was given by our guest minister in the Pulpit Swop, Guy Miller from Watford Elim Pentecostal Church.
Rev. Miller began by saying we are called for a purpose—to win souls.  Jesus came to seek and save the lost and we are his followers, to follow in his purpose.  Nothing is impossible with God.  Guy shared with the congregation how God has been working through the Elim Pentecostal Church’s project to feed the hungry.  Jesus fed the hungry and it is an excellent way to share the gospel with the needy.  The world suffers unless the Saints fulfill their purpose.  God will use the Saints to bring people to true relationship with Him.  The field, saints, is white with the harvest, but the labourers few—pray for more labourers to join in God’s work to win the lost.
Guy ended with a prayer for the congregation.

The final Hymn was Onward Christian Soldiers
after which the Closing Prayer was led by Tony Shevlane

Fellowship continued over refreshments in the church hall.

There was Children’s Church during the Sermon time.
