The Offertory was given by David Silcox.  He read Philippians 4:19, God will supply all your needs according to HIS riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.  Although God can do it all, we need to do our part in adorning the Gospel, and one of those means is through giving an offering.

During the Offering, the Hymn ‘This Earth Belongs to God’ (to the Trumpet voluntary) was played and the words shown on screen for those who wished to sing along.
Following the Offering, Mike Barlow offered a Prayer over the offering.

Hymn 5.  Our God Reigns
Hymn 6.  Hallelujah, Praise God

Phillip Halford with Intercessory PrayerIntercessory Prayerwas offered by Phillip Halford and included:
*God, Creator of all we see, nothing happens that you do not see.  We look forward to your return, which this Festival pictures, more than anything else.  We are encouraged that You have a plan and timing
*Many are suffering in mind, body and spirit.  Where it is your will, please intervene in their lives.
*We pray for Margaret Silcox back in hospital, that she will not suffer pain or anxiety.
*Be with Jack Stokes and his family
*Comfort the bereaved and be with Paul and his family as they arrange the funeral of Linda on Monday.  Also we think of the Schnipperts mourning the loss of Bernie.
*Many are very ill like Ruth Edwards, Mrs. Kelly, and John Halford.  Please comfort and heal them
*You are the answer to every problem.  Some horrific things are taking place, the innocent killed, mained and tortured, and we ask you to be there with them to comfort and strengthen them
*and so we look forward to and ask you to speed that day, when Trumpets will usher in your return to put things right at last.

Hymn 7.  Rejoice the Lord Is King
David with announcements

The Message was given by David Silcox.  He began by reminding us of Jonathan Edwards, famous athlete, who was not afraid to profess his Christianity and would not run on the Sabbath, but who, sadly, as recently lost his faith.  Even King David asked why the wicked prosper, until he went into the house of God and realized the End puts all right.  Today we consider the end when Jesus returns to bring justice, peace and restitution.  Isaiah 59:8 says the way of peace they know not, there is no justice and they all do evil.  Isaiah 9:66 gives the antidote—for unto us a child is born, and the government shall be upon his shoulder and peace no end.  Jesus Christ defeated the Devil in the ‘temptation’ recorded in Matthew 4, although he is allowed power to rule in this world until christ’s return James 4:1.  Bad things happen because men make bad choices.  It is not God’s fault, except that he gave us free will and choise.  Look to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2)  1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, Revelation 11:15 &1 Corinthians 15:51 show us this mystery, that we will all be changed and death does not win—death is swallowed up in victory at christ’s return—thanks be to God.

The final Hymn was The Lord Is King after which the Closing Prayer was led by Peter Beardsmore
