Hymn 4.  When I Survey The Wonderous Cross Hymn 5.  The Lords My Shepherd (Crimond)

photo 4The Message was given by Mike Barlow on the subject of ‘You can always trust in the Gods promises’.  Do you get let down or feel you can’t trust anyone?  God can be trusted.  He is a source of strength and we can have complete confidence in Him. He is dependable and loyal—His word is his bond. John 3:14, Titus 1:1 & 1 John1:2 & 2:1 speak of God’s promises. 1 Cor10:13 says God is faithful and trustworty, a comfort.  Rom 8:35 asks who could separate us—noone and nothing (a promise). God wants to help, as we can’t do it alone Deut 7:9 Faithful God, keeping his promises Heb13:5,6 He will never depart, nor forsake us. Phi1:6 Paul is confident and believes God. God will help us, He will not let us down Prov3:1 Trust in God with all your heart and do not lean on your way. Rely on God for his promises of eternal life.  Fellowship, become like God Heb10:21 a Christian Church is a fellowship of Christ. Give thanks.

The final Hymn was Dear Lord And Father Of Mankind after which the Closing Prayer was led by Bill Wilson.

Fellowship continued over refreshments in the church hall.

Today was also the Luton Ladies Day where nearly 40 ladies gathered to fellowship, worship and learn together.  For a full report, click on this link:
