Sue Ann with a prayer in the sermonIntercessory Prayer was led by Sueann Henderson and included:
*We have so much to be thankful for. Your son suffered and died for all mankind and took away our sins. You found us and we are not lost. We can have a relationship with you and know that you no longer remember our sins. Help us to live our lives knowing this and show us opportunities to serve others. Help us to show the love you have for us and our hope for the future. Things can go wrong in our lives and we can’t understand why. Please help us to understand more clearly and to build faith and trust in you.
*Please help everyone to get safely home from S.E.P. and for Takedown to go very well. We ask you to now bless and inspire Jackie and Peter Mill as they take on their new duties.
*We ask you to intervene in the lives of Graham and Maggie Mitchell, Daniella Francis and Jack and Rosemary.  They are all going through great difficulties. Please help them and their families.
*We pray for Peter Buckley who remains confused. His relatives feel that the best thing for him is to go into a Care Home. Please help Peter to understand and accept this.
*We continue to pray for Valerie Philo and are very pleased that Eva Hitchcock is much improved.
*George Campbell is 87 today. We ask you to help him with his mobility problems.
*Please comfort the family of Dennis Clapp and let his family understand the hope for the future.
*Everyday we hear of people dying suddenly in many different circumstances and do not return home to their loved ones. The family of Morgan Montgomery will be asking why? This is a terrible thing to have happened and we ask your comfort and help for them in their grief.
*Father we give our lives to serve you.

Hymn 4 – Purify my Heart
Hymn 5 – My Jesus My Saviour

Cliff Neill preachingThe Sermon was given by Cliff Neill on our different Walks in life.
There are many walks written in the Bible. God walked in the Garden of Eden. Abraham walked to Moriah. There was the walk through the Red Sea and the wilderness. Joshua walked around Jericho. The shepherds walked to the stable in Bethlehem. Paul walked to Damascus and Jesus walked to the cross.
The most unforgettable walk was when Jesus walked on water! We read this story in Mark 6:46-52. Jesus had sent the disciples to go before him in the boat to Bethsaida, while he went to the mountain to pray. A storm blew up about the 4th watch between 3-6a.m. The disciples thought that they were going to die. Then they saw a shadow of a figure walking towards them on the water and they were afraid. Jesus spoke to them and stilled the storm and they were safe.
In our own storms of life do we fail to recognise Jesus in the midst of our problems? Jesus had revealed his divine presence to the men on the boat. Only God can do such a thing. Moses and Elijah were also allowed to see God’s presence. Exodus 33:12-23. 1 Kings 19:9-18. We can focus on our storm instead of looking at the one who walks on water. God reveals himself through Jesus. We should take his hand and walk through the deep valleys and waters with him. God touched our lives and intervened. We should be thankful and worship him. He will never leave or forsake us.
Have courage and don’t be afraid, because our God walks on water!

The Final Hymn was You are my All in All after which the Closing Prayer was given by Mike Barlow.
