Hymn 4 – There  is a Redeemer
Hymn 5 – Crown him with Many Crowns
The Message was given by Anthony Dady.
Pentecost is sometimes thought of as the second most important day after the resurrection of Jesus. It celebrates the giving of the Holy Spirit and the beginning of the church. Please read Acts 2. All scripture pointed to Jesus, and the coming of the Holy Spirit had been predicted. God’s plan was to work through many people and the church grew. Luke 24:45. Jesus left promises to his disciples to send help to them. Matthew 28:20. John 14:18, 16-17. The Holy Spirit would convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. John 16:7-11. The Holy Spirit transformed the lives of the people in the early church and they were able to  reach out to others. The true meaning of Pentecost is that Jesus died for everyone. We can all be members of God’s household. All humanity is treasured and valued by God. Christians have joy in their lives because we know this truth. John 15:26-27. We have to try and live as God wants us to live and must focus on Jesus and his work.
The Final Hymn was Morning Has Broken, after which the Closing Prayer was given by Irene Wilson.
