*We have just heard that Georgina Lord had a bad fall, cut her lip and has lost some teeth. She needed stitches to her lip.
*Sueann has requested us to pray about her arm. She does not have much control over it and is getting worse. This causes problems when she is cooking.
*We thank you for the lovely weather today and we can meet in peace and safety. No gunfire or floods. We take so much for granted.
*Thank you for all the friendships built at S.E.P. and Adventure Camp. As the young people return to school or higher education, please let them be aware of the dangers they can face. Help them to resist getting involved with those things and protect and guide them.
*We pray for all those countries facing floods. Comfort the bereaved and help those who have lost their homes. Please inspire the people to continue to face each day. We must be generous to support them.
*Many Christians face persecution now around the world. Please protect and encourage them.
*We pray for Georgina to make a swift recovery.
*Thank you that Rowland is making slow but steady progress. We ask you to continue to help him and his family.

Hymn 4 – When I Survey the Wondrous Cross
Hymn 5 – Lord for the Years
The Sermon was given by Mike Barlow on the subject of Impatience.
Patience is a virtue. It is part of God’s character. Galations 5:22-23. We need these qualities. Lack of patience can lead to fights and wars. It is against God’s law of love. 2 Corinthians 13:5. We must look at our character flaws. When things go wrong are we patient with God or do we blame him? Are we patient in our relationships or with others in or out of the church? People can also get impatient with us at times. God wants us to change and it can take many years. The Lord is patient. 2 Peter 3:9. When we keep praying for our forgiveness, are we also willing to forgive others? Matthew 18:21-22. Please read the parable of the unmerciful servant. Verses 23-35. We must show mercy to others as it has been shown to us. A heart is needed of patience and forgiveness. Verse 35. We should show love to each other as Jesus teaches. John 15:10-13. Philippians 2:1-5. Jesus lived the commands of God perfectly. The trials we face through our lives will produce patience. James 1:2-4. We should be patient as the example of the farmer. James 5:7-10. We should grow in grace and knowledge. Jesus suffered for us so that we could have eternal life. 2 Peter 3:18. He endured for us and we should show grace to others. We have the mind of Christ which we should show to our fellow man. Having patience shows our trust in God and he will work things out for us. 1 Corinthians 2:9-16.
The Final Hymn was Blessed Assurance. after which the Closing Prayer was give by Irene Wilson.
Fellowship continued over Refreshments in the Church Hall.
