There was a Church Service on Saturday, 30 June 2018.

The Service took place as usual in St. Peters at 11am

The Opening prayer was given by Robin Howard

Hymns were led by George Henderson:
Song 1: Praise, my soul, the King of Heaven
Song 2: Name of our Majesty

Announcements were also given by George Henderson and included:
*SEP reminder and Adventure Camp will be taking place over the August bank holiday
*We are sad to announce that Allan Frankcom of the Bristol congregation; Duncan McLean of the Luton Congregation, Elizabeth Newton(Simon Newtons Wife), Pat Ramsey, and Roland Gadsden’s wife’s mother, all passed away during the week.

Song 3: Be Still

Intercessory Prayer was led by Phil Halford and included:
*prayers were offered up on the churches behalf for the families of Duncan McLean(wife Shirley, & daughters Fiona and Susan), for Elizabeth Newton (husband Simon; Pat and Reg), Allan Frankcom’s family, Linda’s mother(Roland, Linda, Janie & Tom) The Father called them all home.

The Sermon was given by Mike Barlow on The Lord’s Prayer.We are have trouble sometimes with prayer, what to say and how to say it. But we have an example in the Bible, Luke 11v1 Jesus told the disciples how to prayer Matt6v9 the Lords Prayer
Our Father-He is the supreme being John8v41 God of truth
In Heaven-God lives there, all things are to Gods glory Heb4v14 the throne room
Hallowed be Your Name- Gods’ has over a hundred names in the bible, Emmanuel(perfect), the Lord is Good, God most awesome and worthy of praise
Thy Kingdom Come- pray that it comes and we will be thankful
Your Will Be Done-when He returns He will teach people about Gods’ way, do Gods’ will
Give Us Our Daily Bread- ask God what you want Matt7 Keep on knocking, keep on seeking Luke 18v1 2Tim1v1 ask God for your needs
Forgive us our sins- pray for others, His forgiveness and gives us eternal life
As We Forgive Them- give forgiveness( a gift from God)
Lead Us Not Into Temptation But Deliver Us From The Evil One

The Final Song was Wonderful Grace after which the Closing Prayer was given by Geoff Sole

Refreshments were enjoyed after the Service, in the Church Hall where fellowship continued.
