Here is a Virtual Service that may be of use to you while we are not able to meet in the flesh:

PRAYER
Praise the Lord! As the cases of coronavirus diminish the lockdown begins to be lifted and we look forward, God, to meeting up again in a house of prayer to worship together. In the meantime, please bless our virtual worship as we gather to pray, to sing, to remember those who have need of healing and blessing, to study and hear your Word to guide us. May this Service be a blessing to you, Father, and to each who join in heart and in your Spirit.
AMEN

We celebrate tomorrow the giving of the Holy Spirit, that teaches us to do God’ will, and as we pray in our first song—lead me by Thy Spirit good:
HYMN NO. 1 – THE SERVANT’S PRAYER – WCG 156

We sang ‘set me free from all my foes, bring my soul from trouble’ and thankfully the pandemic ‘trouble’ that has beset the world is beginning to abate. Lockdown is gradually releasing and hopefully we can soon meet again in person. May we be patient as we wait or should I save have patience! I still haven’t decided where to go for Pentecost ~ the Living Room or the Dining Room!

The SPEAKING OF LIFE this week is by Anthony Mullins, entitled ~ Any Takers? https://www.gci.org/media/videos/speaking-of-life-2026-any-takers/

His ‘free cruise’ analogy was an alarming topic for some of us. We perhaps all remember the Diamond Princess, stranded at sea for weeks with sick passengers. You may remember that David and I were on a cruise around New Zealand at the beginning of the pandemic and after we disembarked we learned later that two from our ship had died of the virus. The Ruby Princess sailed again the next day and had to cut short its New Zealand trip due to their lockdown. The people disembarked and a number were found to have the virus. Australia and Princess Cruises disputed who was to ‘blame’, so these two cartoons struck a cord:

But to be serious, our truly free gift is a journey to ETERNAL LIFE. Count me in! Let’s celebrate that free gift with a song of Thanksgiving triumphantly raised:
HYMN NO. 2 – LET ALL THINGS NOW LIVING – WCG 20
Here’s a youtube link:

God the Creator, guideth us on to the end of our days. May we remember that ‘I nothing lack if I am His’, the King of Love My Shepherd Is:
HYMN NO. 3 – THE KING OF LOVE MY SHEPHERD IS – WCG 41
Here’s a youtube link:

My ransomed soul He leadeth to those streams of Living Water which flow from that King of Love. And with the verdant pastures he feeds us. So for spiritual food we have the Live-Streaming Sermon link:

SERMON LINK FOR SATURDAY 30 MAY 2020

As in our song before the sermon, let’s fling wide the portals of your heart to become a temple set apart from earthly use for heav’n’s employ as in our last hymn today:
HYMN NO. 4 – LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, YE MIGHTY GATES – WCG 45
Here’s a youtube link:

Our Sovereign enters in and new and nobler life begins as the Holy Spirit guides us on until the glorious crown be won.

PRAYER
Father in Heaven, help us to focus on the beautiful, inspiring and instructional words in the hymns we sing as well as the Sermons we hear. Let them be our guide. Use them to guide us to follow the lead of your Spirit in our lives. We look forward to ‘meeting’ again tomorrow to celebrate that Spirit, given after Jesus’ ascension, and dwelling in us until His return.
AMEN
