VIRTUAL WORSHIP FOR WATFORD ON 16 & 17 MAY 2020

May this be a blessing for you during the continued lockdown.

Prayer is such a blessing. Prayer is not only for the benefit of others—those that we pray for—but is for our benefit as it blesses us to share the love and compassion of God by expressing our praise to God and concern for others in intercession before God

SPEAKING OF LIFE this week is by Greg Williams about The Prayer of Faith https://www.gci.org/media/videos/the-prayer-of-faith

Greg’s prayer is that our congregations will be ‘houses of prayer’. During this time of lockdown, we cannot have our group prayers in person at Church but can pray as one in our virtual prayers. Let’s take one minute in quiet meditation and prayer together.

In song, we forget not all the benefits of He who forgives all our iniquities—our diseases he will heal; from destruction he redeems our life and crowns us with his love!

HYMN NO. 1 – BLESS THE LORD ETERNAL, O MY SOUL – WCG 117

Blest and happy is he who places his delight in God’s word and meditates upon it.

HYMN NO. 2 – BLEST AND HAPPY IS THE MAN – WCG 23

All he does prospers well within God’s will. Even when things do not seem to be prospering well, in our trials we still have the peace to say It is well with my soul.

HYMN NO. 3 – IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL – WCG 263

We look to the future when faith shall be sight.

We may not be able to go back and start again, but every day is a fresh start. And so for this day let’s delve again into your Word for inspiration during the live-streaming Sermon:
