Church at home!

GLADLY, WE CAN NOW MEET IN ST. PETERS BEGINNING SATURDAY 5 DECEMBER 2020. As the restrictions of lockdown have been lifted on 2 December we can now meet in person for Church. Although the Tier 2 restrictions which most of the country is under, are quite strict, Churches are allowed to meet providing they follow the guidelines including not socializing with others not in your household. Remember that you MUST contact David Silcox to indicate that you plan to come, you can’t just turn up because numbers are limited. When you arrive you will need to use the sanitizer and then give your name and contact number in case you need to be contacted if someone in the group on that day comes down with the coronavirus. You may bring a Bible for your own use (the pew Bibles have been removed) but please do not bring a cushion. You must wear a face covering at all times in the building and use the hand sanitiser at the door going in and going out. There will be hymns but you must sing them in your mind and heart, not aloud. Please remember we still need to observe social distancing and note the one-way system within the church. There will be no refreshments.

I hope that this is not off-putting because it will be great to see one another, not just meet ‘virtually’ for the live-streaming messages. There will be a live sermon during the Service which begins at 11am. The Saturday sermons on the UK Church’s youtube channel have finished but you can still tune in to the Sunday messages at 11am by going to the home page of the Church website  and clicking on the links there. The mid-week Bible study at 7.30pm on Wednesdays is to continue live-streamed. *Note that YouTube does not require you to have a user account or download additional software. The links to upcoming broadcast will be available on the Church website These live-stream messages will also be uploaded as videos (and audio files) for people who are not able to join at the time the broadcast and here is the link to past broadcasts:
These options will make it possible for you to join others to worship together virtually even after our regular meetings have been resumed.

The plans is to Zoom our Service from our Watford Congregation beginning next week 12 December. There may be other GCI UK congregations providing Zoom services and you may be able to find these zoom links on the UK Gracecom website if you would like to join up with them.

Although the Bricket Wood Bible Studies are still postponed at the moment, there will be a Bible Study available on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. Please find the link on the home page of

The next Bible Study is scheduled for Wednesday 9 December 2020 and can be accessed at 7:30pm that day on a link on the home page of

We will be meeting at St. Peter’s at 11am as usual Saturday 5 December. You are welcome to come but we request that you check before turning up as numbers are strictly limited and we would not like to have to turn anyone away at the door. There will be prayers, hymns, Speaking of Life video and Sermon from Mr. Francis Bergin.
